Your story begins and ends with the living God. We hope this page helps summarize the Christian faith and gives you an opportunity to explore and ask questions.
But the Lord God called to the man, "Where are you?"
Though mankind was made perfect, Satan led our first parents into rebellion against God. Sin was new in the world, and they hid from God. But God was not fair with them: he came in mercy! He did not destroy them, but promised a Savior who would destroy Satan's work.
I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you...and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.
Like us, Abraham was born sinful, yet God called him in undeserved kindness to be his own child and father of a new people. God kept his Word and Abraham was blessed by it.
I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life...Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.
Jesus came as light and life into our darkness. Whoever believes in him is saved because his death counted as the death we deserved for sin.
Jesus was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.
Jesus' death as payment for sin once for all - and his resurrection as proof of it - continues to be our reason for having peace with God forever. It's news too good not to share.
"I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star."
The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let the one who hears say, "Come!" Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.
Who is God? Why is there so much wrong with the world? Is he angry at me? Does he see me, or even care about me? Perhaps you wonder if God even exists. Make a beginning here with what the Bible says. If you have more questions, we look forward to seeing them.
When you look up at the stars and sense some higher power far beyond your ability, you have evidence of God. He reveals more about himself in the Bible. He shares his characteristics of being eternal, all-knowing, all-powerful and in need of nothing. God says he is the only God and that he is three persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), yet one deity. This so-called “Trinity” may not make sense to us, but we are not God!
Perhaps the most shocking truth we learn is his love for sinners like us. He gave up his only Son, Jesus, who willingly went to death in our place that we might be spared the hell we deserve and live with him forever.

Living Savior Lutheran Church began exploratory mission work in the Littleton area in 1995. Our focus is to share the good news of all God’s perfect gifts through Jesus.
Through a variety of efforts to build bridges to the community we hope to make connections that many more may hear about what a great God we have. We also aim to grow together as a family of supporters and encouragers in knowing, confessing and expressing God’s love.
The mission work that began here in the 1990s and continues today at Living Savior Lutheran Church was initiated by our national church body, the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS).
Our national church body which operates ministerial education schools, provides congregational support and starts home and world missions.
Our sister congregation and school in the Lakewood area that serves kids from preschool to 8th grade.
