What We Believe

We believe that the Holy Scripture (the Bible) is the inspired Word of God. It is without error and completely sufficient for salvation.  It is the only source of all our teaching.

We believe that the only true God is the Triune God as he describes himself in the Bible—Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that humankind is totally corrupt, dead in sin and deserving of eternal condemnation.

We believe that God is just. He hates sin and his justice demands that he punish sinners.

We believe that God is full of grace. In love he sent his Son to our world to save us from sin and its consequences. Jesus was punished in our place to satisfy God’s justice. Jesus lived perfectly in our place and God credits us with his holy life.

We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man and is the only Savior from sin.

We believe that the Holy Spirit uses this Gospel (Good News) to create faith, to strengthen faith, and change lives.
