Wise Worker | Genesis 41:15-40 Devotion

Wise Worker | Genesis 41:15-40 Devotion

Joseph could hardly believe it was happening – standing before Pharaoh – but even better sharing the interpretation only God could give. Joseph was not wise and understanding on his own, but recognized the humble blessing of being used by God to accomplish divine purposes. The Lord give us the same conviction and make us wise for salvation with opportunities to spread it everywhere!

Pharaoh’s Frenzy | Genesis 41:1-14 Devotion

Now it’s Pharaoh’s turn to be the double dreamer, and it’s got him all riled up. Something ugly, something good, something seven, something food….what does it all mean? Only room for one interpreter in this town – send for Joseph (after he cleans himself up first)!

What do you mean, “To Seek and To Save”? With Zacchaeus in Luke 19

What do you mean, “To Seek and To Save”? With Zacchaeus in Luke 19

This podcast got its start because of Jesus’ own purpose statement and mission – “for the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost” – in Luke 19. Clint joins in as we discuss the story and statement that brings sinners like us to the saving words of the Son who came from heaven.

More podcasts to come will explore stories of how God seeks us and connects us to his saving love in Jesus. Explore this with us and be challenged by the God who never ceases to desire and work that we might be close to him.

  • What do you most enjoy doing?
  • What is the best trip you’ve ever been on?

Relate: Several years ago, we decided to plan a family vacation to Disney World.  To make the trip happen, our family made extreme changes.  We saved every penny we could find.  We stopped eating out.  We clipped coupons.  We cut back on date nights, movies, and desserts.  When you start cutting out ice cream, you know it’s serious!

Going All Out: Once enough money was saved, we went all out for the trip.  We stayed on Disney property, rented a limo to go from our house to the airport, made reservations to dine with character, lined up all the rides we wanted to go on, we even met personally with Peter Pan and Wendy. …

The ministry Jesus set into motion was one to proclaim his Word and drive believers forward to the day they would see him with their own eyes again. And this word of God’s loving grace through Jesus brings you forgiveness and eternal life – no matter what!

One that is permanent with enduring strength and unchanging no matter the challenger. That’s the type of victory God has given all people through his Son. Explore this daily victory in Jesus with us and leave life’s little victories behind.

Forgotten Helper | Genesis 40:9-23 Devotion

Joseph served and served well. He helped others and was glad. Even though his kindness was forgotten, his LORD knew and helped him survive his loneliness by faith.

  • How would you describe yourself?
  • What does it mean to you to know that you are God’s child?

Relate: The year Sofie was in Pre-K, she was very excited to be in “Miss Noel’s class” and while I was nervous about balancing my roles as “Mom” and “Teacher”, that year was filled with memories I will cherish forever.  It turns out that being the Teacher’s daughter in preschool is basically like being a celebrity – everyone wanted to be Sofie’s friend and everyone thought she was so lucky to have “Miss Noel” as her mom. …
